Dzelzsbetons MB, Daugavpils dzelzsbetons and UPB extends ISO certificates in the field of quality, environment, health and safety without inconsistencies

A team of independent auditors from Bureau Veritas Latvia has repeatedly confirmed that the business processes of UPB and eight UPB group companies are managed in accordance with the requirements of International Standards for Quality management (ISO 9001:2015), Environmental Management (ISO 14001:2015) and Occupational Health & Safety (ISO 45001:2019).

UPB Group companies have been certified in accordance with these International Standards for more than 20 years – since 2000. It is a fully-fledged base which has contributed to the trust of customers, company's continuous development, competitiveness, flexible and innovative approach to the management of processes and creation of products with added value.

"For the sixth year in a row the auditors did not identify any inconsistencies in any of the UPB Group’s certified companies – thanks to the management strategy and our personnel’s competencies, responsibility and teamwork," says Inga Frišmane, head of UPB quality and environmental department.

This year, the certified scope of Dzelzsbetons MB has been expanded with the design and production of glassfiber reinforced concrete products.

These certificates are valid until July 2024.

ISO standards confirm this and serve as a good basis for competitiveness, promoting long-term cooperation with customers and cooperation partners in both Latvian market and export countries.

In addition to ISO certifications, UPB has developed its vision of sustainability and since 2018 has been continuously maintaining gold ratings in accordance with the UK market participants' qualification assessment, where UPB is recognized as a safe and reliable partner (Achilles, Constructionline certificates), which is able to implement tasks and orders in a secure work environment (SSIP certificate).
